Because we are a booking agent, your booking contract — and your cancellation/refund entitlement — is with the Operator. The terms below reflect the Operator’s current cancellation policy for whale watching tickets. Please also refer to the cancellation terms in your booking confirmation, as these govern your specific booking.
If you need to cancel, use the link in your booking confirmation to manage your booking directly through the Operator’s system (FareHarbor).
Cancellation refund schedule:
Please note pricing differences may occur if you rebook online rather than cancel outright.
If your tour is cancelled due to unfavourable weather or other unforeseen circumstances, the Operator offers the choice of:
Guests who fail to arrive for boarding at the scheduled time are not eligible for a refund or rebooking.
If you’re rebooked under the 100% Sighting Guarantee (see Terms & Conditions), that rebooking is not itself refundable — it may only be rescheduled once, subject to availability, within the same season.
Gift vouchers are non-refundable.
Refunds are processed by the Operator directly through their FareHarbor booking system — not by us. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method within the Operator’s standard timeframe. Card charges will appear on your statement under the Operator’s payment descriptor, not under our name.
Cancellations and refund requests are handled directly by the Operator via the link in your booking confirmation. For general questions about this policy: hello@ultimatewhalewatchingsydney.com.au
